Working with a highly renowned recruitment agency, we delivered a successful campaign from the launch of a new website to ongoing marketing across organic and paid search.

Following the launch of their new website, it was pivotal to deliver a seamless migration that meant no existing keyword rankings were lost. This meant there was essentially no down-time and ensured the website was firing on all cylinders. 

As part of the SEO team on the account, it was my job to ensure the SEO strategies were met. These included: 

  • Carrying out a Content Gap Analysis – to highlight further opportunities to maximise reach and supply additional quality content that could be used throughout the site.
  • Updating Goals & Tracking – testing each goal to confirm results would still be accurately reported.
  • Improving Engagement Rates – carefully placing Call To Action (CTAs) buttons throughout to encourage the users to take action.
  • Improving User Experience (UX) – making it easier for users to navigate between pages with appropriate internal linking.
  • Improving On-Page SEO – from page structure to choosing the right keywords to target, I made sure each page was able to perform as well as it could.
  • Implementing Schema Markup – Whether it was a recent job vacancy or FAQs, I added schema to better enable Google to understand what we were about.
  • Technical Checks – ensuring site health was strong and there were no broken links as a result of the web migration.

Between each of the tasks illustrated above, and the general day to day practises – we were able to achieve some remarkable results.

YOY organic conversions - Success

Organic traffic saw a 30% increase YOY with 5K + more users visiting the site. This inevitably contributed to a dramatic rise in job applicants and other key performance metrics – benefiting from a 91% uptake in organic conversions alone (1000+ additional leads).

More recently, the website has hosted even greater triumph and achieved an astonishing 4K + leads in a single month when combined with all the other marketing channels.

The client opted for a Bing Ads campaign designed to attract potential job applicants for two majour Airports in the UK. To do this I set about creating the right campaign using a budget of £1k / month.

Despite a smaller target audience in comparison to Google, I was able to generate 300+ leads over a three month period:
